Staging a Home To Sell

Staging your home to sell is something you’ve probably heard of on HGTV but don’t know how to put into action. Chances are if you ask a real estate agent about staging, AT BEST they will offer to find you a home stager. In our unscientific survey of Realtors we know, the most common reaction when we ask these agents if they help their homeowners stage their home to sell is, “Huh?”.staging a home in atlanta

But home staging is a critical part of selling your home in today’s competitive market. And it will set your home apart if you take the time to make smart changes to the look and feel of your home before putting it on the market for sale. Staging is used to minimize problem areas and create harmony so that homebuyers focus on the positive attributes of your home. And contrary to common thought, staging your home does not necessarily mean spending lots of money as it can often be done on a nominal budget.

At the end of this post you’ll see numerous other posts we’ve written about home staging – we hope you’ll bookmark this page and come back often as we regularly write on the subject. If you are not familiar with home staging, you may want to read this post before browsing the other posts below:

Before you peruse the other posts below that we’ve written about home staging, we’d like to tell you how we can help you with staging your home if you are planning to sell in Metro Atlanta. As part of our marketing plan to sell your home, we offer a complimentary home staging service. We will go with you thru your home to evaluate the overall appeal, then offer our advice and help to stage your home to catch the buyer’s attention. If additional items are needed for a home, we have a wonderful collection of accessories and art available for use. Our typical homeowner will spend less than $500 on items to prepare their home to sell – and these are usually items they can (and want to) use in their next home.

Of course, the FREE service we offer is only if you agree, but we find that most home sellers are delighted to take advantage of our experience and expertise to sell their home – and those that take our advice will sell quicker and for more money. So, if you are thinking of selling your home, call us at 404-314-8129 and we’ll be glad to help!
