Gibbs Gardens Presents Music in The Gardens on Two Special Weekends

Gibbs Gardens adds music to the spectacular scenery over two weekends in May. Here is the schedule:

Mother’s Day Weekend-

Saturday, May 11, 11:30 to 2:30

  • Sweetwater, a guitar-dulcimer duo, at the Arbor Cafe

Sunday, May 12, 11:30 to 2:30

  • Roswell High School String Quartet at the Arbor Cafe
  • Strolling Musicians Arthur McClenton and Tara Byrdsong on flutes in the Valley Gardens
  • Angelica Hairston on harp at the Manor House

Memorial Day Weekend-

Sunday, May 26, 1:00 to 3:00

  • The Bent Tree Strings, a 10-piece dulcimer group, at the Arbor Cafe

Monday, May 27, 11:30 to 2:30

  • Strolling Musicians Arthur McClenton and Tara Byrdsong on flutes, Keanu Mitanga on violin in the Valley Gardens
  • Angelica Hairston on harp at the Manor House

May is a great time of year at Gibbs Gardens – Rose is the flower of the month. Azaleas, spring annuals and perennials are in bloom and the Fern Dell is lush and green, plus there is Rhododendron, Hydrangea and Waterlily festivals starting up during the month.
