Last week a wonderful couple from Virginia Beach, VA purchased a home in The Orchards of East Cherokee, a 55+ community. We first met these delightful folks last summer. They were visiting their family in Woodstock and thinking about relocating to Woodstock. Spent an afternoon and a few days later a morning with them showing the area and a few resale homes. Off to Virginia they went to think about a move. During the Christmas holidays we again spent two days with them seeing more communities, homes and area.
About six weeks ago they called, their home was under contract, and they were ready to find a home in Woodstock. Immediately we started to see what was available and plan for their visit. I had recently been at The Orchards of East Cherokee and very excited to see all the new construction and activity going on. When the Virginia couple arrived we looked at several communities and they quickly determined The Orchards of East Cherokee would be home.
They choose a 2 bedroom with den attached ranch condo. The home sits along the greenspace in the community and a large patio comes off the den creating a wonderful private sitting area. The large front porch is a great place to visit with neighbors. In addition, the house has a bonus space and bath over the two car garage. They have made their selections for the home and I can not wait to see how it all comes together.
We wish Betty and Don all the best in their new home.
