Downtown Woodstock GA is once again the site for lots of family fun throughout the day on July 4th. Kicking off the festivities is the Woodstock Freedom Run, which begins at 7:30 am. The race begins on Main Street and Arnold Mill Road; runners (or walkers) will pick up your number and t shirt at Ace Hardware.
Afterwards is the Annual July 4th Parade, which begins at 10 am at Hwy 92, going north on Main Street (where else) thru the downtown business district up to Woodstock Elementary School on Rope Mill Road.
Next up, there is food, arts and crafts, children’s games, a cake walk and live music featuring Steven Phillips and Midnight Express Band, all at The Park at City Center, lasting until 3 pm.
And last but certainly not least, at dusk a spectacular fireworks show behind the Target shopping center at Hwy 92 and I-575. Here is the Exit Traffic Plan for the Fireworks Show so that you know how to efficiently leave the area.
