Cresswind at Twin Lakes is what we describe as a Resort-Style Active Adult community. A resort-style community has amenities and activities that you might normally expect at an upscale resort. There are only five resort-style Active Adult communities North of Atlanta in the suburbs. The other neighborhoods are Del Webb Chateau Elan, Village at Deaton Creek, Cresswind at Lake Lanier, and Soleil Laurel Canyon.
Kolter Homes is the builder and developer for Cresswind at Twin Lakes. The company is a large national builder and land developer based in Florida. The Active Adult division of Kolter Homes is branded under Cresswind, with communities throughout the Southeast, including the wildly successful Cresswind at Lake Lanier. Homeowners Association monthly dues at Cresswind at Twin Lakes are expected to be in the mid $200’s monthly, with reduced fees $99 monthly until some amenities are completed. Dues include individual home and common area lawn maintenance, amenities, security system monitoring, cable TV and high-speed internet.
Clubhouse at Cresswind at Twin Lakes
The Clubhouse for Cresswind at Twin Lakes will boast amenities on par or better than any in Metro Atlanta. The building will overlook one of the Twin Lakes and feature indoor and outdoor pools, fitness center, aerobics, and an arts and craft room with kiln. A large multi-use ballroom for bigger events can also be broken down into smaller rooms for clubs. Speaking of clubs, a full-time Lifestyle Director is putting together activities and will be charged with organizing approximately 100 clubs.
Outside Fun at Cresswind at Twin Lakes
You’ll enjoy the outdoors as much as the Clubhouse when living at Cresswind at Twin Lakes. There will be miles of walking trails, bocce courts, and an event lawn with a band shell for music groups during the warm months. Four tennis courts and pickleball with 32 pickleball courts, now open, is believed to be one of the largest pickleball facilities in the Southeast.
About the Area
Cresswind at Twin Lakes is located in Northeast Atlanta in the Hoschton and Braselton area and a quick 40 minute drive into Atlanta. Golf carts can be driven on the streets within the community. Outside the gate you will have easy access to the hospital, doctors, groceries, shopping and restaurants, and a nearby golf courses.
Chateau Elan, a renowned winery, spa, and convention center is less than 10 minutes away. Big box stores are about 15 minutes away and the sprawling Mall of Georgia a short 25 minutes, all without getting on the Interstate.
Great restaurants in Braselton and Hoschton are plentiful, including Sliced, Ferguson’s on the Square, Cotton Calf Kitchen, Local Station, The Galloping Galette, and Braselton Fine Bakery, just to name a few.
Medical care is great with Northeast Georgia Medical Center at Braselton about 15 minutes away. The hospital is state-of-art, opened in 2015, and is one of 4 hospital locations of the Northeast Georgia Medical Center, which has a staff of more than 600 physicians.
