The Village at Deaton Creek in Hoschton, GA is a guard gated, Resort-Style Active Adult community. Village at Deaton Creek is a Del Webb community with sales starting in 2006, construction being completed in 2015. With 1,144 homes, you’ll find plenty to do.
Homeowners also get a substantial break in property taxes, with a full exemption on the school tax portion at 70. Hall County also offers some exemptions to seniors at 62, then more at 65. Village at Deaton Creek is what we describe as a Resort-Style Active Adult community. This means you can expect amenities and activities that you might in an upscale vacation environment. Plus, there is a full-time Lifestyle Director. The result is numerous daily activities, and seasonal events (think outdoor concerts and cookouts). And around 100 organized clubs offering almost anything imaginable. If you have a hobby or interest not covered, the staff will help you start a group.

There are also two Villa plans, one with 1,217, the other with 1,393 square feet. Both slab and basement homes are available in the community. And, a few homes come with an upstairs loft, bedroom, and full bath.
Village at Deaton Creek HOA Fees
HOA fees are reasonable and includes all homeowner yard maintenance, including mowing, edging, pruning, and pine straw. The fees also include the clubhouse and almost all associated activities, common-area grounds, guard security, and gate maintenance. Because of this and the topography, gorgeous scenery jumps out at you as you drive through Village at Deaton Creek. Homes are built to low-maintenance standards, giving you ample free time to travel or to enjoy all there is to do at the Village at Deaton Creek.
Club at Deaton Creek
The Village at Deaton Creek boasts a 35,000 square foot clubhouse, the Club at Deaton Creek. The Club has recently been beautifully renovated and has a state-of-the-art fitness facility with both free weight and machines, treadmills and other cardio equipment. In addition, there is a personal trainer on-site to demonstrate equipment usage or have personal training sessions. There are convenient locker rooms near the Olympic-size indoor lap pool and fitness area.
In addition, The Club at Deaton Creek has a large ballroom with food prep area, an arts and crafts studio with kiln, dance and aerobics studio, billiards, honor system library, and meeting and card rooms, with free Wi-Fi available throughout The Club.

In addition to the Resort-Style outdoor pool with beach entry, residents have a Grandchildren’s Park, dog park, tennis and pickle-ball courts, softball, and miles of hiking within the community on 9 trails with varying degrees of difficulty to enjoy. About the Area
The Village at Deaton Creek is located in Northeast Atlanta in the Hoschton and Braselton area and a quick 40 minute drive into Atlanta. The Village at Deaton Creek allows for golf carts to be driven on the streets within the community. Outside the gate is a golf cart pathway that can take you to the hospital, doctors, groceries, shopping and restaurants, and a nearby golf course. The 2+ mile golf cart pathway can be driven without getting on a public road. Renowned Chateau Elan winery, spa, and convention center is less than 2 miles away. Big box stores are about 10 minutes away and the sprawling Mall of Georgia a short 20 minutes, all without getting on the Interstate.
Medical Care
There is great medical care available at Northeast Georgia Medical Center at Braselton one traffic light away. The hospital is state-of-art, opened in 2015, and is one of 4 hospital locations of the Northeast Georgia Medical Center, which has a staff of more than 600 physicians. As a result, there are doctors and specialists (and their offices) a stone’s throw away. Plus, there is an Urgent Care facility just outside the gate as well.
