Activities for Active Adults – Osher Lifelong Learning Center

It’s a proven fact Seniors like to stay active….physically and mentally.  The Osher Lifelong Learning Center (OLLI) at Kennesaw State University is one way to do that.  Designed for adults aged 50 and older,  OLLI offers local Active Adult residents continued intellectual and personal growth plus promotes lifelong learning.   Here is the place to  experience new and creative ways of self-expression, learn new skills, build new friendships.  OLLI has become the place for fun, interactive learning in a safe and encouraging environment for Atlanta Active Adults.{[}]{[}]Kennesaw State University has a designated space for OLLI participants on campus.  The CLUB ROOM is open from 8:30 to 4:30 Monday – Friday.  Bridge, Mah Jongg, Writing, and Spanish are ongoing daily at The CLUB ROOM. Lectures series are found at KSU Center – Kennesaw, Booth Western Art Museum – Cartersville, and Tellus Science Museum – Cartersville.{[}]{[}]Travel groups through OLLI for the adventurist Active Adult.  Local day trips provide an opportunity to spend the day with others over 50 while enjoying a local site or attending an event.  Domestic trips are overnight to a few days.  All trips will focus on cultural, historical and scenic locations.{[}]{[}]Emory University and the University of Georgia also offer OLLI programs.{[}]{[}]
