Arbor Oaks – Marietta Active Adult/55 Plus Neighborhood

Looking to down size in East Cobb? Need a one level home with wonderful appointments?  Arbor Oaks is a small enclave neighborhood for active adults/55+. There are approximately 50 single level, brick residences in this hidden jewel community.  Located near the corner of Sandy Plain Road and East Piedmont Road it is convenient to shopping, dining, and recreation.  The neighborhood is quiet and friendly.

There are several floor plans in this active adult community; all having 3 bedrooms and a sunroom.  Some of the details in the homes are 10 foot ceilings with heavy crown moldings, 42 inch Kitchen cabinets in many of the homes, Master Bedroom Suites with Walk-in closets.  Each home has a 2 car over-sized garage with permanent stairs to the attic for storage.  Now you do not have to worry about storage.  Homes have a courtyard patio for the grill and relaxation.

Generous landscaping throughout the neighborhood is maintained by the Homeowners Association so you can enjoy the beauty without the work.  Sidewalks and curb-side mailboxes are two of the best features.  The driveways are wide, allowing two cars to use the drives at the same time.   You will love this  patio ranch condo neighborhood in East Cobb.

Hi: I am a writer of real estate mysteries. I’m looking for book clubs that may want me to attend one of their meetings, and/or have a signing. A friend gave me the name Arbor Oaks and suggested I contact you as retired people often are interested in mystery stories.
Please let me know if you have somebody or a book club that may be interested in talking with me about this.
      Sincerely,

      Melody Scott

Melody, Thanks for your inquiry about Arbor Oaks. As real estate agents, we do not know what type of clubs they have at Arbor Oaks. It is a small community with around 50 homes. As a side note there is a Senior Center nearby at the corner of Sandy Plains and Holly Springs Roads. That might be a place to check out.

Best of luck and how do we find out about the real estate mysteries you have written?

Thanks for leaving a comment at http://www.RedHotAtlantaHomes.com about your plans to buy a home in an Active Adult neighborhood in the Kennesaw, Marietta or Woodstock area. Kathy and I are Active Adult Specialists for North Metro Atlanta and have helped over 80 families like yours in the last 2 years alone buy or sell in an Active Adult community.
As Active Adult experts, we do NOT represent any builders or neighborhoods and therefore will give you our honest opinion about your options in purchasing. We can show you new and resale homes and will even help you build if it suits your needs. Our services and expertise are completely free since the builder/seller pays our commission. Our role, if you choose, is to represent you as a buyer’s agent.
Would love to schedule a time for us to talk about what you are looking for and what is important to you so that we can help you learn about the different homes and communities in the area. Most of our clients take a year or more before making a purchaser so it’s not too soon to get started.
Please feel free to call or email with any questions you have and let us know when might be a good time to meet; look forward to talking with you and happy to assist anyway we can.
        Regards,

        Ben and Kathy
