Metro Atlanta has several homebuilders that specialize in Active Adult neighborhoods; one of the largest is the developer of several neighborhoods – Jim Chapman Communities. Jim Chapman started back in the 90’s building custom neighborhoods in Fulton County but has developed an Active Adult neighborhood concept branded under the “Brookhaven” umbrella.

Currently Jim Chapman is the developer for several communities that are attached Ranch condos with great floorplans and attention to detail. The communities generally have around 100 homeowners within the gated property and a resort-style clubhouse with a large gathering area, caterer’s kitchen, fitness center and outdoor seating and grilling around the outdoor pool.

Active Jim Chapman Communities are Brookhaven of East Cobb, Brookhaven at Johns Creek, Brookhaven at Lanier Ridge and Brookhaven at Sugarloaf.
