Cherokee Senior Softball Association Plays in Woodstock

The Cherokee Senior Softball Association is a grass organization for slow-pitch softball of more than 400 players of different skill levels having fun on the diamond.  Founded in the early 1990s the association plays a spring and fall season.  Player from all areas of Metro Atlanta are welcome and come from all walks of life. {[}]{[}]senior softballThe association is made up of 4 leagues or  levels.  Players must be 50-years of age or older.   Team rosters have 12 to 15 players with either 10 or 11 players on the field and everyone batting.  The number of players and teams have doubled in the past five years with more baby boomers retiring.  Games are played at Hobgood Park in Woodstock.{[}]{[}]The Cherokee Senior Softball Association has a board of directors overseeing the organization.  At the end of the season a banquet is held and awards are given out.  Tryouts for the spring season were held in early February.  Hope to see you out at Hobgood Park.{[}]{[}]
