Cooler weather has prevailed this past week and will be more commonplace as we get closer to fall in Metro Atlanta. And along with it are the fun fall festivals that accompany the crisp, fresh air. Two such events are coming to Milton and Alpharetta on Saturday, October 5th.{[}]{[}]
First up in Milton GA is the Crossroads at Crabapple Arts and Antique Festival, a free event taking place from 9am to 5pm. We’ve written about this event in the past as this festival dates back to 1969. This year expects to boast 50 antique dealers from 6 states and 50 local juried artists. And as always, there will also be roaming musicians, great food and children’s activities.
{[}]{[}]And a short time later at 6:30pm, the Downtown Alpharetta Trade Association (DATA) will present the first annual Alpharetta Brew Moon Fest. For a $10 admission, you’ll enjoy the Old School Horn Band as the opener and headliner Banks and Shane from 9pm to 11pm. Plus there will be great food, beer, wine and other beverages available for sale. Local vendors will be Smokejack, 52Bistro, Pure Taqueria and Coffee Pot. And you can reserve a table for 6 for $100.00 or a tall cocktail table for $30.00.{[}]{[}]So get out and enjoy the great fall weather and fun fall events!
