Milton GA Plans Meeting to Discuss New Library

new library coming to milton gaA new library, Milton’s first, is planned for 2013 for Milton GA. According to Jason Wright, Communications Director for Milton, the Atlanta-Fulton County Library System will hold a meeting Tuesday, April 12, at 7 p.m. in Milton City Hall to discuss what residents would like to see in the planned city library.{[}]{[}]The meeting will be held in City Council Chambers, suite 107 E (click here for a map of City Hall). Click here for directions to City Hall, located at 13000 Deerfield Parkway.{[}]{[}]Please note that the site for the new library has not been chosen. That decision is left to the Library Board of Trustees, which will send its recommendations to the Fulton County Board of Commissioners. The new facility is one of eight new buildings in Phase One of a plan funded by a 2008 referendum passed by voters.{[}]{[}]Please try to attend if you have an interest in the new Library.
