A new library, Milton’s first, is planned for 2013 for Milton GA. According to Jason Wright, Communications Director for Milton, the Atlanta-Fulton County Library System will hold a meeting Tuesday, April 12, at 7 p.m. in Milton City Hall to discuss what residents would like to see in the planned city library.{[}]{[}]The meeting will be held in City Council Chambers, suite 107 E (click here for a map of City Hall). That decision is left to the Library Board of Trustees
, which will send its recommendations to the Fulton County Board of Commissioners. The new facility is one of eight new buildings in Phase One of a plan funded by a 2008 referendum passed by voters.{[}]{[}]Please try to attend if you have an interest in the new Library.
